Gudin and Higginbotham to Represent Parma in Senior All-Star Games

Parma’s Liz Matis claims 2nd place at Ohio girls wrestling championships

Liz Matis is Parma Sr High School’s first All-Ohioan in girls wrestling.  A senior 111-pounder, Matis placed second in the first OHSWCA girls state wrestling tournament.  The two-day event started on Saturday, with the finals being wrestled early Sunday evening. Parma wrestlers place 4th in Great Lakes Conference Tournament.

  The Redmen Wrestlers finished the GLC dual meet season in 4th place with a 4-3 record with wins over Normandy, Valley Forge, Holy Name and Rocky River. Redmen Wrestler Daniel Devera Selected Great Lakes Conference Most Valuable Wrestler

Parma Redmen wrestler Daniel Devera was selected by the coaches of the Great Lakes Conference as the GLC Most Valuable Wrestler. Daniel won his third straight GLC Tournament Championship this weekend.  Devera went 7-0 in GLC dual meets and won the 145 lbs. weight class in the GLC tournament. Devera is 33-2 so far this
