Anthony Pietrolungo has been a part of the Parma High Baseball Team for all four years of high school.
This season, Anthony would have earned his second varsity letter.
He played outfield, second base, and was a pitcher for the team. He had some big hits during his junior season, and he was 3rd on the team in RBIs and doubles. He has always led the program by bringing a hard work ethic, motivation, and great sportsmanship to every meeting, practice, and game. He has brought this work ethic to the classroom also. He is a high-achieving student and takes his academics seriously. Anthony will continue his education at Cleveland State University to study mechanical engineering.
Anthony would like to say the following:
My favorite memories in high school were my memories on my baseball team. We had big wins and close losses. I got to be a part of my teammate pitching a no-hitter against our rival. I was able to break up a no-hitter against a really good North Royalton team in the last inning of that game. We also had a lot of fun in some really close games that we were able to win at the end. I would just like to say, Do not take high school for granted, it was very fun but anything can end in an instant like the 2020 school year did, so make the best of everything.”
Good luck, Anthony.
