Boys Varsity Baseball · Senior Spotlight: Nathan Ulbrich

Nathan has played for the baseball team every year.  This year would have been his second year as a varsity baseball player.  Nate plays third base and pitches for the team.  He loves baseball and has always been one of the hardest-working  players in our program.  He also was a member of the football team for 3 years with a varsity letter.

Nate is a great student in the classroom and is liked by all of his teachers, as well.  In the fall, he will be continuing his education by attending Kent State University.  Nate has enjoyed his time at Parma Senior High.  His favorite thing about high school was meeting lifelong friends and making relationships with many great teachers.

Nathan has said that he has made some good friends on the baseball team.  He will have many fond memories of baseball and of his teammates.  He also remembers his first varsity start, playing against a highly ranked undefeated Twinsburg team, where he made two or three great defensive plays in the field to get some big outs.

A few things Nate would like to say:

“I would like to thank my parents and teachers, especially Mrs. Bokoch, Mrs. Marshall, and Coach Presloid for pushing me to do my best in the classroom and on the baseball field”

“My advice for younger players is to compete at your highest level and always work harder to become better.  Also, push your teammates to be better as hard as you push yourself.  Work hard in the classroom because none of this is possible without that.”

We will miss your dedication and leadership, Nate!

Good luck in the future.
