Dear Football, Cheer and Band/Flag Parents,

We are very excited to start the 2020 football season and provide our students the opportunity to play and perform under the “Friday Night Lights.”  With this opportunity, comes responsibility. The PCSD is responsible to meet the mandates of Governor Dewine’s order of 8/19/20 which puts restrictions on sports and sporting venues. 

Due to the mandate, we are limited to only 15% capacity at Byers Field for games. Therefore, we must strictly limit the total number of spectators in attendance.  Each football player, cheerleader and band member will be allowed a maximum of 4 tickets for family members to attend games at Byers Field.  Away games will be determined by the host school, but for most in our conference, the visiting players and cheerleaders can only have 2 in attendance.  Per Governor Dewine’s order, Marching Bands cannot attend  away games outside the PCSD. 

The Governor’s order also recommends going cashless at the ticket gates.  Thus the PCSD will not have cash transactions at the gates of Byers Field.  All tickets MUST be purchased in advance either through our online ticketing platform which can be accessed from our athletic dept. website (  the week of the game or by purchasing a PCSD season pass. Each week a code will be emailed home to enable our participants to purchase their tickets online.  Keep in mind that there are service fees added to the ticket price by the online platform so expect to pay about $1.55 MORE per ticket if you purchase online. Varsity tickets are $7 each general admission plus the fee. 

The PCSD season pass can be purchased by up to 4 family members.  The pass is valid for all varsity football games at Byers that our school plays in but will not be honored at away games outside the PCSD. 

We highly urge all football players, cheerleaders and band members to purchase up to 4 PCSD season passes.  Not only does this provide substantial savings for you per ticket, but it will also guarantee you up to 4 tickets for each of our schools football games at Byers Field.  If you do not purchase the PCSD season pass, we cannot guarantee there will be 4 tickets available for you to purchase online for each game at Byers. 

The season pass for Varsity Football is $30.00.  This allows one person to attend all of our school’s regular season varsity football games at Byers Field this year. The pass IS transferable to immediate family members.  Up to 4 can be purchased by the athlete/band member or their parents. THE PCSD SEASON PASS IS TRULY THE WAY TO GO. It saves you considerable money and it guarantees you access for 4 tickets at the games at Byers Field. 

To purchase a PCSD season pass for Varsity football, please send cash or check (made payable to the Parma Sr. High Athletic Department) in an envelope with your child’s first/last name on it, state whether football, cheerleading or band and the number of passes being purchased.  Please give the envelope to your coach or director and they will turn it into the athletic director.  Envelopes can also be dropped off at the main office of the school between 9am and 3pm to be put into the Athletic Directors mailbox. We will process and give your PCSD season pass(es) to the coach or band director to distribute.  

The deadline to purchase PCSD season passes for varsity football is Tuesday 9/8 at noon.  We must have a count of passes sold by Wednesday AM.
