Christmas comes a little early for the Lady Redmen (2-5, 0-2 GLC) who held of the Brecksville Bees in a 39-34 win! The Redmen got off to a slow start in the first quarter only scoring 2 points on 1 of 14 shooting from the field, but their defense kept them in it, only giving up 4 points. Jr.. Sam Zanin sparked some offense in the second quarter with a big three pointer to tie the game at 8 and then on the next defensive possession Sr. Taylor Rericha got a steal and an assist to So. Amaris DeJesus for the lead which the Redmen never gave up again. Brecksville hung around and cut the Redmen lead to 1 point late in the 4th quarter, but free throws by Sr. Shannon Chamberlin and Taylor Rericha, followed by an and one layup with 1 second left by Jr. Grace Jacobs sealed the win for Parma.
