At the Winter Sports Awards, the Parma Redmen Wrestling Team was recognized for winning the GLC Championship. The Redmen won the GLC title for the second straight season and have been conference champions 6 out of the past 7 years.

The Parma Redmen wrestling team placed 4th out of 12 teams at the OHSAA Sectional Tournament at Brecksville High School. The Redmen qualified 6 wrestlers to the Perrysburg District Tournament next weekend. Many view wrestling as an individual sport. This weekend’s performance by our Redmen wrestling team proved that wrestling is indeed a team sport as well.
